1Who runs this website
This website, prakashshastry.com, is run by Prakash Shastry Somanchi, a direct selling leader and trainer based in India and associated with PM International. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Prakash Shastry Somanchi and the people who help him run this website and reply to messages.
We decide why and how the information described here is used, which makes us responsible for it under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
In shortOnly what you send us yourself, plus the basic technical records every website server keeps.
2What information is collected
Information you choose to send
When you message us on WhatsApp, call us or send an email, we receive what you share in that conversation. This is usually your name, phone number or email address, and your message. It may also include details you choose to add, such as your city, your current business or the program you are interested in.
Technical information
Like every website, our hosting server automatically records basic technical information when a page is requested: your IP address, browser and device type, the page visited, the referring page, and the date and time. These records are used only to keep the website secure, find faults and keep it running.
Visit statistics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used: which pages are visited, how long people stay, the general area they visit from (city or country, not exact location), their device and browser, and how they found the website. This helps us see what is useful and improve it. Google Analytics does not tell us who you are, and we do not combine this information with your WhatsApp, phone or email conversations with us.
What we do not collect
- The website has no sign-up, login, comment or contact forms.
- It takes no payments.
- It does not use advertising pixels or social media tracking.
In shortThe only cookies are from Google Analytics, for counting visits. You can block them in your browser.
3Cookies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This website uses only the cookies set by Google Analytics (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID). They let Google Analytics tell a new visit from a returning one, and last up to two years unless you delete them.
WordPress, the software the website runs on, sets cookies only for the site administrator when they sign in to manage the website.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The website works fully without them. If we ever add other tools that use cookies, such as advertising pixels, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
In shortFonts and visit statistics come from Google, and WhatsApp and email are run by their own companies under their own policies.
4Services from other companies
- Google Fonts. The typefaces on this website are loaded from Google’s servers, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when a page loads. Google does not set cookies for this. See the Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics. Visit statistics are processed by Google, which may store them on servers outside India. Google acts on our behalf for this and does not use the data to show you ads from this website. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
- WhatsApp. The “Chat on WhatsApp” buttons open WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta. Messages you send there are handled under the WhatsApp Privacy Policy.
- Email and phone. Emails and calls pass through the providers that you and we use for email and telephone.
- Website hosting. The website and its server records are stored with our web hosting provider.
Links to other websites, such as PM International, take you to sites with their own privacy practices. Please read their policies when you visit them.
In shortTo reply to you and help with what you asked about. Nothing else without your agreement.
5How your information is used
We use the information you send us to:
- reply to your message and answer your questions;
- share details of the training programs, private consulting or opportunities you asked about;
- arrange calls, sessions or meetings with you;
- keep a record of our conversation so we can continue it later.
We will not add you to broadcast lists or send you promotional messages unless you have agreed to receive them, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
In shortShare health details only if you want to. We pass your details to a specialist only when you ask us to.
6Health details and our network
Conversations about wellness and nutrition can touch on personal health. You never need to share medical information to contact us, and we ask you to share only what you are comfortable with.
The specialists in our Collaboration Network are independent professionals. We pass your details to a specialist only when you ask us to, and from then on their own privacy practices apply to what you share with them.
The same applies to PM International. If you decide to buy products or join as a distributor, your registration is handled by PM International under its own privacy policy.
In shortOnly as long as it is useful to you, or as long as the law requires.
8How long it is kept
We keep your messages and contact details for as long as we are in touch with you and for a reasonable time afterwards. When you ask us to delete them, we will, unless the law requires us to keep them.
Server records are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period for security and fault finding, and are then deleted automatically. Visit statistics in Google Analytics are deleted automatically after the retention period set in our Google Analytics account.
In shortThe website is encrypted and we take reasonable care, though no system is perfect.
9Security
Every page of this website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. We keep the website software up to date, and only the people who reply to messages have access to them.
